The housing crisis has been with us since long before the pandemic, but recent events have shone a light on this unignorable issue: Rents are high and the wait for subsidized housing is long. Violent encampment evictions have shaken communities. Too many people are struggling to find a safe, affordable place to live.

Join us for a discussion of why this is happening and what we can do about it. Led by community experts, we’ll dig deep into the complex challenges facing the GTA when it comes to housing and homelessness. We’ll also share how United Way, with the support of people like you, is working to address them by meeting basic needs and tackling systemic issues.

Take part in a conversation about how we can stand with our neighbours and work together to ensure everyone in our community has a safe place to call home.
