It’s a pivotal moment for Peel Region. Years of persistent hardship and inequities mean the status quo is not working. Municipal governments have a lot of say in creating policy that affects our day-to-day lives, including one of the most substantial – our homes. Municipal councils are also best-positioned to advocate on our behalf with the province. Peel’s voice matters at Queen’s Park, and the upcoming municipal election is an important opportunity to push for change.
Let’s chart a new path forward, together, so that Peel can shape stronger housing policy, income supports, and foster equity in our communities.
I’d like to invite you to join us for a Municipal Election Forum on Monday, October 3rd, 2022 from 6:30 – 8:00pm EST. Hear from experts in the field, ask questions, and share your ideas with advocates, candidates, and your community ahead of the election. Register for free here: https://bit.ly/3vS5C5g
